I'm a member of a Marie Mail Art Group with a really fun and talented group of artists. There is always all kinds of amazing swaps, challenges etc., going on in the group. The latest one I decided to participate in is a charm bracelet round robin. Each person makes her own starter bracelet and adds a few charms of her own. Then the bracelet gets sent to the next person in the group and they add a few charms, etc.
I thought I would show before and after shots of my bracelet. The photo below is of my bracelet and the charms I've added, before I sent it off to the first person.
I'll post another photo when I receive my finished bracelet.
If you'd like to see some really beautiful work from some of the members in the group, you can visit the group's flickr pool here.
Hi Kathy!
Love the swap! I have just recently started making jewelery with my 8 year old !It is fun and a lot cooler/cheaper than the junk she buys at Claire's, so when she breaks or loses something it does not sting quite as much he he!I hope all is well with you!

I love the idea. I wonder if I could get some of the Texas bellas to participate in a private swap like this.
What is the turn around time?

That's a beautiful bracelet Kathy -- it's going to be even more beautiful when it has been filled through the swap. Can't wait to see it when it makes it's way back to you!
