The Girls Are Going Shopping

I am really excited that I get to spend 4 days shopping with two super fun girls.  CHA is finally here, and today was the first day.  There is so much to see, but so far, some really cute things.  I will post more pictures soon.

This photo was taken at the Kaiser Craft booth.  They really did an incredible job with their displays, and their designer is SO talented. 

My Stamp Du Jour

So this is turning out to be my Valentine stamp du jour.

It seems to be the first stamp I pick up when making my Valentine projects.  Not sure why, maybe because it's so simple and universal.

This is another little ornament I made with it.  At some point I'm going to have to break up with it and move on, but for now I'm still having fun.

 

 

It's All About Valentine's Day

I hope everyone's new year has started out just the way they hoped it would.

I don't know how I jumped from Christmas straight into Valentine's Day, but it seems I have.

I've been working on so many large time consuming art projects lately, that I really enjoyed a tiny break the last few days, and felt like making some fun, simple Valentine projects.

Below are a few things I've made that I'm putting in my shop.

A little LOVE banner using Jenni Bowlin's scalloped chipboard.

 

 

A little heart ornament made from a three dimensional heart...a bit shabby and sweet.

 

And a little cherub ornament...he's been embossed with pink glitter embossing powder, then I added a banner with a Valentine sentiment.  I made a series of these, each with a different sentiment ~ so fun!

Now it's back to craziness...I need to finish some Valentine ornaments I'm making for a super fun swap hosted by the sweet sweet Natalea, and then in a couple of weeks is Kim's huge Marie Soiree, and I have a swap for that event I need to finish before I go...so, back to work (fun).  Oh yeah, and speaking of Kim and her extraordinary events ~ check out her blog on Friday for ~ La Petite Maison Blanc...
