A Pretty Little Christmas!

Heather of Pretty Petals is having a party celebrating all things Christmas!  Everyone can participate...it's all about posting pictures of everything you love about the holiday season...anything goes...post photos of your decorated home, or any holiday crafts you are making, beautiful holiday displays you see around your town, snow covered mountains, beautifully wrapped gifts, burning fireplaces....the incredible moon that has been hanging around the last few days...anything!

This is one of my favorite vintage holiday images.  I made it into a little collage wall hanging that I'm giving as a gift for Christmas.

This next photo is one of a set of mugs that I adore...each mug has a different image of a spectacularly fancy holiday shoe...I decided to plant a tiny Christmas tree in one of them this year.

And Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a little Wendy Addison...

Tags For Karin

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. 

I kind of checked out for a few weeks...super busy, but I have really missed blogging.

I have a lot of things I want to post about, but one thing that has been on my mind quite a bit, is Karin of Creative Chaos, and what she is going through right now.  That also leads to another example of what an incredible community this can be.  Karin's friend Heather asked everyone who wanted to participate, to make a tag(s) for Karin and send it to her (Heather).  She was going to collect all of the tags, make them into a book, and send them to Karin to surprise her and cheer her up.  I don't know the exact count, but I'm pretty sure she received over 100 tags.

If you read Karin's blog over the last few weeks, you will see all of the kind and thoughtful things people are sending, making and doing for her ~ it's all really touching.
