Sterling Roses

I wanted to share this picture of roses from my favorite rose bush - the sterling rose.  I should have taken the picture a few days earlier, when the roses were perfect, but they are still hanging in there.  If there was a way I could pin them to my nose, I would do it.  I would walk around all day with them pinned to my nose.  Really!  Their smell is unbelievable.  The rose bush was given to me by my, sweetest ever, cousin Krissy.  Thank you!

Aquabella Ornament Swap

Well, it took me awhile to get back to my blog, but finally!  Silver Bella was wonderful, of course.  Teachers and classes were amazing! Vendor night was incredible.  There are so many pictures out there from the event, that I decided to post just one.  The picture below is of the beautiful ornaments I received in the Aquabella Ornament Swap hosted by Tammy Gilley.  Opening each one was so fun.  I can see all of the time and effort that went into each one, and I will treasure them always!  Thanks to all of you!

If I had been blogging over the last couple of months, I am sure I would have posted a picture of this cutie on his birthday.  He was born on "the" 9/11, so he just turned six.

Birthday at Madres

I wanted to post a few pictures of the restaurant I went to for my birthday.  If you are from So. Cal. you have probably heard of Madres.  It is owned by Mrs. Marc Anthony, but more importantly, it was designed by Rachel Ashwell.  If you are a fan of hers, you would love this restaurant.  Chandeliers everywhere, huge bouquets of fresh roses everywhere, a great Latin band playing in the bar, couches in front of the fireplace.  It is really beautiful and we had a great time.  A huge thank you to my Mom and Sister for taking me there.

Here I Go

I started this blog back on August 28th (which happens to be my birthday), and have not made a post since.  Not such a great start, but I am determined to do this.  I have had so much fun reading other blogs, and the idea of connecting with people all over the world is really fascinating to me.

I think it all started with Silver Bella.  After I decided to go this year, I started reading all of the blogs of the other women going.  I can't begin to tell you what an incredible group of women these are.  Funny, witty, amazingly talented artists. 

So here I go...I think with my next post I will go back a bit to my birthday!
